3 Different Ways How To Install WordPress Themes
WordPress have a inbuilt options for adding the themes & Plugins, but you know ? You can install themes using 3 different ways. In this tutorials we are going to explain all 3 ways.

First Way – Search & Install
The easiest way is “Search & Install” . If you know the theme name so, you can install it directly from WordPress dashboard, simply login into your WordPress dashboard click on Appearances > Themes > Add New then type the theme name on the top right search box.
For example i am searched “Storefront” and got the following results.
Before installing the any themes please check that it is compatible with current version. You can “Install theme” by clicking on “Install” button and then click on activate.
Second Way – Upload .zip file & Install
If you have a downloaded zip file from other sources so you can install using upload option. Login into WordPress dashboard go to Appearances > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme click on Browse button & select you zip file and click on “Install” button, after that click on “Click on Activate theme” now your theme is ready to use. That’s it.
Warning: Don’t download themes from unknown sources, because its content may have a malware or viruses.
Third Way – Upload using FTP (File Transfer Protocols)
You can upload & install directly using ftp (File Transfer Protocols). This is not much usable option, sometimes upload themes option is disabled by service providers due to some security reasons that time you can use this option.
What You Need For Third Way?
- FTP Account
- FTP Client Software “FileZilla”, “Cyberduck” , “WinSCP” etc.
You can use any one above ftp client software we are use “FileZilla”.
Create FTP Account
Simply login to you Bluehost account & click on Hosting >> cPanel >> File management >> FTP Manager, you can then set up new FTP account & also manage existing FTP account from there. Enter the required details under “Add FTP Account” and click on “Create FTP Account” button. Now your account is ready to use.
FTP Client Software
For accessing the above created FTP account you need a ftp client software. You can download some popular software from given bellow link
